That's us, Frank and Nadine Gröters. After the restaurant was without use for 10 years, we decided to breathe it's old charm back into it and give new impulses to our loved region, it's gastronomy and tourism.

We achieve this with the combination of hospitality, proximity to our guests and the sustainable economy of our Landgasthof.

We want to give our guests a special experience and provide constant surprises for you.

We desire to pass on our calm attitude of life, simplicity and life quality to you.

The building had been almost empty since 2010 and was no longer operated as an inn or restaurant. After almost 10 years without use, a new wind is blowing in the Wetteraperle and we are particularly proud to share our experiences from Berlin and Tegernsee with you.


Our philosophy

We have high demands on our kitchen and to ourselves. Frank prepares all of his dishes himself. In our house, you will not only find traditional food. We will focus on steaks, light salads and innovative cuisine.

Regionality and sustainability are a matter of course for us. That is why our ingredients come from the farmers around the corner, meat from the immediate vicinity, honey from our own bees and whatever is seasonal can be found on your plate.

Everyone is welcome in our country inn. No matter if you are a hiker, cyclist, traveller, feel free to make a stop at our place. Especially, locals are more than welcome in our house. You could also use one of our five parking spaces with your motorhome.
