Regional and natural

At the Wetteraperle we take great care in how we handle our ingredients. We buy from suppliers in the area and, wherever possible, straight from the local producer. That is how our meat, potatoes and other ingredients come directly from the region.

Use good ingredients and you will conjure up a delicious meal – that is exactly how we cook. Add a pinch of experience, creativity and salt, and you get nothing but the best from us.

What we believe in

Philosophy

“We will make the best schnitzel and the best steak in the area.”

That was our motto before we reopened the Wetteraperle. But our kitchen has far more to offer than those two arguments. We stand for sustainability, regional sourcing, quality and hospitality.

After more than 20 years in hospitality around Lake Tegernsee, we wanted to spend our time back home, among family and friends. Here we want to realise our culinary ideas – and we are taking you along on that journey.

We want to continue the story of this house and share the character of this place and this region with you.

We have refurbished the parlour at the Wetteraperle and brought back its old charm. And in our beer garden you are welcome to enjoy your after-work beer or your breakfast outside, right by the pond.
